I’m sure every sane person understands that cancer is a bummer. However, there are things that happen where you just have to embrace the humor. This is one of those things.
I shop at CVS sometimes, so I have a CVS card. I have linked it to my email account. They’ll send me coupons for products, weekly ads, percentage off deals, etc. Sometimes I am interested. Sometimes it is so inappropriate given my current situation. Here is a screenshot from my email today of just such a situation:
THEY KEEP SENDING ME SHAMPOO COUPONS!
For my not even centimeter long hair.
“Run in before you run out!”
So, at least for today, enjoy your joy.
Even when it seems terribly inappropriate.
